Matching your accommodation and beach to a route

Where you are staying or goingWhat to check
Old Town and centreCheck the walk to Budva (Centar) on Mediteranska. You can walk from the Old Town to Ričardova glava beach without taking a bus.
Rozino, Dubovica, GolubovinaStaying near the intercity station does not necessarily put you near your Mediteran Express stop. Choose the line first, then check the walk.
Podkošljun and Velji VinogradiCheck the nearest stop on your line and the side of the road. Boarding points vary within the neighbourhood.
Boreti, Bečići, RafailovićiThese areas are on the eastern riviera routes. Check the stop nearest the actual house and allow for a climb if your accommodation is on the hillside.
Kamenovo, Pržno, Sveti StefanTake an eastbound service and walk from the stop to the shore. Find the return boarding point in advance.
Jaz, Prijevor, SeocaThe beach bus does not serve every house on the hillside. Check the last part of the walk and whether the bus runs in the season you are visiting.

Four checks before travelling

  1. Season. Is the route running today?
  2. Side of the road. Where do you board in the right direction and where can you cross safely?
  3. Payment. Take cash in euros and confirm the fare before you travel. The summer fare above is only a guide.
  4. Your bus home Note the stop and the last confirmed departure. Check any late-night departure before relying on it.
